Book travel with Vuelo from your AI agent

Vuelo provides an API for AI agents to search live flights and hotels, obtain bookable prices and create travel bookings on behalf of customers. Any agent that can make an HTTP request can use it, with no key and no integration. Agents that speak A2A or MCP can use those instead; all three reach the same service.

Vuelo is a travel booking and payments platform for people and AI agents. Agents can search live flights and hotels, retrieve bookable prices and create travel bookings through Vuelo. The traveller always confirms and pays on their own phone: Vuelo texts them a secure link, and nothing is booked until they do. An agent never handles card details, and never decides whether someone can have credit.

    Vuelo texts the traveller a secure link. Send an Idempotency-Key.

    GET https://mcp.getvuelo.com/agent/v1/orders/{order_id}

    Poll until booked. The booking reference and dates arrive here.

When to stop and ask the traveller

Any response with requires_user_confirmation: true says why, in confirmation_reason: price_changed, payment, credit_application, traveller_details and others. Errors say whether they can be recovered from and what to do next: SEARCH_AGAIN, REVALIDATE, ASK_USER, RETRY, REAUTHENTICATE or CONTACT_SUPPORT.

Paying, and payment plans

Show payment options exactly as Vuelo returns them, and the price in full. Where an offer has a Vuelo payment plan, show its notice word for word and nothing else about it: the plans, their cost, the eligibility check and the agreement are only ever on Vuelo's secure page. UK residents only.

Limits and keys

No key is needed, over HTTPS or A2A. Without one, each IP address gets 20 live searches an hour (then cached or sample results, marked live: false), 10 revalidations and 5 orders; over A2A, 10 find_trip requests an hour and 30 a day. Send X-Agent-Platform so we can support your platform; an unknown platform is fine. For higher limits, and to see only your own orders, ask Vuelo for a partner key and send it as a bearer token.
